Daniel Davies is a Thouron Scholar and Ph.D. student in the Department of English at the University of Pennsylvania. His research centers on the representation, ethics, and poetics of warfare in the late Middle Ages. 

Casey Ireland is a PhD student in English at the University of Virginia. She is interested in margins and materiality in Old and Middle English Literature.

R.D. Perry, UC Berkeley, is a PhD student in English and Medieval Studies with a Designated Emphasis in Critical Theory. He is completing a dissertation titled “Chaucer’s French Tradition: Coterie Poetics in Late Medieval England.”

Michelle Ripplinger is a PhD student in English and Medieval Studies at UC Berkeley. She studies Middle English poetry and devotional literature, with particular interest in women readers and the construction of a lay readership in late medieval England.

Zachary Stone is a PhD student in English at the University of Virginia. He is working on a dissertation entitled “The Rule of Heaven: Devotional Polity, the City, and Later Middle English Literature.”

Spencer Strub is a PhD student in English and Medieval Studies at UC Berkeley. His dissertation is entitled “Publishing before Print: Sins of the Tongue and the Public of Middle English Poetry.”

Sarah W. Townsend is a PhD student in English at the University of Pennsylvania. She is working on a dissertation entitled “‘A New, Female Kingdom is Begun:’ Female Readers and the Reception of Christine de Pizan in Fifteenth-Century England.”
